It is always interesting to read a history of Poland written THIS WAY in English. One may not be a very big fan of learning history with all the kings, queens, wars, dates, but here we have a story, an essay, making the stuff more friendly. To me it is the same thing, as reading the New Testament in German. No explanations, not too much footnotes, just a story to read. Good work, Mr. Adam, and thanks very much for it. Just finished Warsaw 1944. As a lifelong historian of WW2 this book is one of the most moving I have read. The story, and the author's delivery, are utterly incredible. Thank you for this magnificent work.

Ok so we are in krakow now. Last night me and my son was out and about. Had a few beers in the bars around the square. We met a guy who seemed genuine said he was in the army british army he seemed stereo typical a little moustache spoke like an army guy. One thing led to another and we was outside a tittybar i noticed even though i was pissed by this point he knew the girl on the door. Alarm bells. I pulled my 20 year son away and we did one. We was fortunate. I have a photo off him if amyone is interested or has been tried off this guy.
